Exodus 3 and 4 record God's call of Moses to deliver the people of Israel and lead them into the Promised Land.
BackgroundHebrews 11:23 tells us that the parents of Moses were strong believers.
Hebrews 11:24-26 tells us that when the time came for Moses to choose, he "refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
